Historical OOB Download for Gettysburg

Sorry Reb, can't help ya beyond the info I've provided. My mods are tested thoroughly before they are released...they don't crash if installed correctly. They are all designed in complete mod form to work if copied to the Mods folder...once unzipped that is, or they can be extracted directly into the Mods folder.

It's gotta be something on your end.

Edit: Don't set sprite option to 10, set it back to the default 0...try that, scenario is already set to SR10, as it says in the title.

I'll try again, I misunderstood about the sprite setting. But how do you get just the OOB into the Sandbox selection? I could not find the game OOB's in a file anywhere?

Like I already said, the sandbox OOBs are in Bugles and Flags. Once installed, they will appear on the Sandbox Screen...don't delete or move anything.

OK Reb, just checked and here's the procedure for playing the full GB OOB for sandbox. Previously I had a separate mod for sandbox set up for SR10 play...but no more. This is not needed now since we have the sprite ratio options available.

So, to reduce the number of sprites for Sandbox Play you must change the Sprite Ratios in the Options Menu. This is not necessary however for SR10 or other SR labeled scenarios...they are already set for optimal play.

If this is not clear then I give up, and someone with better explanations will have to take over. This thread has reached burn out for me. :woohoo:

I hope this helps out, because I know how confusing it can be for someone new. Once you can wrap your head around this (you will get the hang of it, never give up), it will be so easy, and you will be posting help notes all over the place... When you get something right, and can help others, it's a cool feeling.

I ain't there yet. I understand how to play the game, and what is needed, how to select, etc, I understand the screens, tthank you. It's like the game is not recognizing the two folders in question.

I have unzipped Bugles and Flags and Gettysburg in my Mods section. The files have unzipped in their respective folder, 94.4MB for B&F and 1.54 for 3Days/7Hours. OOB's are there, scripts, everything. With loading Antietam (which works) I now have a total of 5 folders in the Mods, 2 from Antietam, the NSD Sample, B&F, and 3Days/7 Hours. I have not taken any files outside their folders. Also, I state that I see nothing further to unzip or run within the B&F, 3Days/7Hours folders. Is this correct.

When I go to the Modification Screen, I see the B&F and 3Days/7Hours in the left column, and I can highlight them, but there is no descriptions (like the others) in the right column and this has something to do with my problem. And no selections are appearing in Sandbox or anywhere else. It's like the game is not recognizing the two folders in question.

I rebooted many times? I have not touched anything in the Options?

Gotta follow through, my mods...

Click the name in Modifications TWICE, a yellow box will appear to the left of the name. Go down to the bottom right, click the check button...Mod is then enabled and should be accessible in User Scenarios and /or Sandbox.

Hope this does it for ya...

Try this one. Make a new folder in Mods called June 30. Within the June 30 folder make a folder called OOBs. Put the attached file in the OOBs folder. Start the game and activate the mod. Let me know if you have problems.

I played another scenario tonight and had some great entertainment. I was at one side of the map and actually had enough time that I was able to send Hampton ahead my army, met the Yanks,etc...it was great, so I am enjoying this game.

I know I have tried what you are suggesting, (clicked twice, got the yellow box, song a song, did a dance) and I come up emtpy... Answer this please. When on the Mods page, should there be a worded desription to the right?

Glad you're enjoying the game. So, you also clicked the check button at the bottom? ...and still no luck?
