There was some excitement with Space Simulator. After sitting in front of your computer for a year and a half you had to start reverse thrust in order to slow down enough to not fly by Jupiter. No brakes on that spacecraft.

Your quite right B. I once tried visiting the moon in real time, no slewing, and when I thought I had it under control I didn't start reversing my thrust soon enough (mid point), and smacked into the moon instead. If you look very hard you will see pieces of my ship strewn all over the moons surface.

I did like that sim. LMUStats is right Orbitor is quite the sim, and FREE at that. When you download all the mods out there for it, the Hi-rez textures it's actually quite fantastic to play... hard as hell, but fun!
