For the HITS & Couriers games we use:Yes, hits seems more realistic, since generals were not able to fly around the map and see everything from above. I need to downloads some mods, I imagine. Are the mods all available on the norb website?

To avoid possible incompatibilities, we suggest playing with a fairly un-modded game otherwise.
To play MP on GCM you need to download the GCM launcher which mods your game for you. Follow the link in KG_Soldier's post.
