Excellent texturing on that stream! I had to look really carefully to see that it was just the texture. Could this style be adopted in the stock maps?

on the other hand, the road textures are so subtle I have to strain to see them.

Nice map but, I tried this map and the Olustee map in mp and the game crashes.Tried with different OOB's and same result. In addition, I tried the Olustee OOB with different maps and the game still crashed. Runs fine in single player sandbox.

Can someone familiar with mp issues on the team consider this. I wondered whether it is because the map isl file is in the mods folder instead of the base/maps folder.
Garnier..... You could do a quick test by pasting the valverde.isl into the base/maps folder on each pc and running again.
I have tried what you have suggested Crikey, and other possibilities, I get what Garnier, and others are getting.
For some reason it just won't work in MP.

Glad you are enjoying the map in SP sandbox.
Sorry if some the roads are less visible than usual. Wanted a dusty track effect but perhaps I over did it. Your troops will find them when ordered to.
I've asked for the MP issue to be looked at by the team.

Well, it looks realistic. When your road is little more than a worn track in the middle of the desert, you can't see it from afar. Then again, when we're talking about a wargame, its good for the players to know where they're going. Good job
