The Ground Textures are new. Yes we are working on making them more detailed than the old. Its also a give and take. I can make these maps look just like the real ground, but when you load 25,000 men on it you will not be able to play on it. The next major releases will have new and improved terrain that will be detailed up close and from a far. Just like a battleship, it takes a while to turn this thing around and keep the quality of game play. If I super detailed these maps a bunch of people would gripe about the Frame Rate Hits or vice a versa. If you guys have any soultions, I am all ears! But to ease your worries, it has been a major discussion and measures are being taken to enhance the ground textures. That being said, these four maps that I fabricated will be a step above the stock textures.

Nice detail work in the breastworks. You guys are doing a great job on these maps. The cut down trees are also a nice touch.
