Actualy my friend I work nights. So I'm used to being up all night as it is. Plus on my nights off (like last) is when I get the testing done for Norb and the Team ;)

Hi.

Oh one thing guys, you will notice a picture called "In a Field" (above). I was able to make it lighter by using the ENBseries when I took the screenshot. It makes it look much different especially when you use the bloom effect. (I'll be testing this ENBseries, and it effects more to see what can be done with it as far as this paint program is concerned).

Later.

Hi.

I have been testing the other paint program (15 day trial), and it takes allot of more work to get a piece worth posting.

I'll be posting some shots using this other software so you can see for yourselves. The free program so far is far superior.

Hi.

Here are the comparisons of the two photo to paint programs I posted earlier. I converted over the same photos using the same settings (that I could see).

[GMX Painter Program]
The attachment GMXPhotopainter.jpg is no longer available
After tinkering with GMX painter I walk away feeling like why has someone created this? It's not at all intuitive, and very difficult to understand on what you can actually do with it to produce quality conversions. Mind you there are some pretty cool little features like free hand, but it's not worth my time simply because for me it's about ease of use. Now for those out there who want to take their time, and figure this out, go for it, I'm sure it may suit your needs. As far as offering you a preview of the picture your are converting, well I couldn't find one. I personally like to see what I am working on, and this program failed (I could be wrong, I grew very annoyed after 20 minutes of tinkering with it, and I gave up).

[FotoSketcher]
The attachment fotoSketcher.jpg is no longer available
I personally enjoy using FotoSketcher. It's intuitive, and very easy to use. It also gives you a nice preview, and it gives you a better understanding of what you are doing. This program helps you get the results you are looking for without messing with your head. This is the program I am going to stick with, and best part of it all outside of what it can do, it's FREE!

Hey, maybe a Painting section would be nice? (hehehe)
