I started with an Apple II+ playing Zork and Wizardry. Amazing what they did with 64K of RAM. That's right... 64K.
One of the very first programs I ever wrote was an Apple BASIC simulation of two Civil War armies trading volleys until one broke and ran or one side ran out of ammunition. Those were the days.
