Actually the "Turn me on Dead Man" is heard when playing "Revolution #9" (from the Beatles "White Album")backwards. Other sounds that can be heard are the sound of a car accident and what appears to be music from a funeral and people crying.mikesla wrote:
For all you young'uns:"I am a Walrus"...haaaaa, you never know. Where in the name have I heard that before? I know I heard this somewhere here.
If you play the Beatles song "I am the Walrus" backwards it says "Turn Me on, Dead Man", which fueled the rumor that Paul McCartney was dead, killed in a car accident and replaced by a look-alike.
Here is one of many links chronicling the whole conspiracy.

I would check that out except it just sounds...creepy. Damn creepy. Although to be honest, playing lots of music backwards (and a good number of songs forwards) could sound like a train or car wreckActually the "Turn me on Dead Man" is heard when playing "Revolution #9" (from the Beatles "White Album")backwards. (I must have played that piece backwards a thousand times when I was a teen)
