Was that unit routed? I find that once artillery routs, all bets are off as concerns the cart going before the horse. It has always been that way, as far as I know.
Yes it was, so that could be the reason why...The reason I have never seen this before is because under normal circumstances I normally get slaughter before I can get close enough to take the gun (damn canister). For some reason just walking up to the arty wasn't such a great idea. :)

Happens all the time with routed guns, nothing new.

I just finished playing an almost exact copy of the game I had yesterday (MP Sandbox, Army vs Army, Gettysburg Map, Gettysburg day1 oob, Defend), and everything looks fine. I think the game must have become corrupt somewhere along the line (something got messed up). The distance between the union arty, and the reb's was better but that could change back to being feet apart next time I play.

One thing, I know spawn points should be random right? Why are the starting points for the Gettysburg map always seem to be the same for this particular scenario?

Is there something I can edit in the map ini files that would allow me to adjust this?
