BTW, did you see the references to the Whitworths? Am curious as to whether or not there effective range/hits were increase to reflect their accuracy?

Jack, the Whitworths do have better accuracy than anything else on the field. I was never able to find any numerical data on the gun accuracy so the numbers are just my best guess. The group size is 1/5 or so smaller than a rifled gun, which is significant.

A real limit is as they can only shoot solid shot, the effects of a hit are only the maxkill for solid shot.
