I must share however, my "Little Bit's" reaction when she saw all the "blue uniformed" people surrounding her at the hospital

Let me try to remember some good things about newborns...

1. their crap don't stink too bad before you get them on baby food
2. if you put them down on the floor, they stay in one place
3. they can't crawl out of their crib
4. they can't crawl!
5. they sleep a lot, just not at the most opportune times
6. they don't talk back
7. lots of people want to hold them so you can go back to the game and your beer
8. you can put them in a backback and you're good for just about anything
9. if you take both of their legs and pull them up towards their head, and they start pooping, it looks like one of those old playdoh toys, in fact if you have one left you can take the yellow plastic template and get the poop to come out star shaped
10. if they won't stop crying you can gently pat their mouth and get a good indian war cry, but this really pisses them off so I don't suggest it

Way to go Mrs J C Edwards! You too, Johnny Reb. This Yankee thinks you did good. Enjoy the girls while you can, until they reach 12 to 18. Then you will be a grizzly bear When all the boys start showing up. Keep your shot gun handy but unloaded, don't want any accidents! I have three boys and eight girls, all the most precious gifts from God. You are truly blest with this little Reb. Congratulations!

A healthy young warrior she is! Get some sleep now because you won't when she starts dating. 16 years or so will go by really fast, speaking from experience (norb, that was hilarious).

Not a problem my friend! And a a thank you again to all. Mama and baby Autumn are doing very well and big brother is warming up to his new lil sis quite nicely. :laugh:

Oh, and Tacloban.......thanks for reminding me what it will be like to have a teenage daughter again!!! :woohoo:

Congrats JC!! We just had our little girl yesterday, Ada Mae, and the strange thing is she was the exact same measurements as your baby!!
