I have been away. It is Spring Break time here. Checking the Forums while away almost sent me over the anticipation edge. :woohoo:

Topic headings such as "Demo on Friday", really had me going. Only to read that it was a wish not a fact.

Or "news" of a "Tutoral" that was wrong. Only to find that I didn't look at all the screen shots close enough.

The salivation factor for this game is already high for me.
Let's try not to yank MadMan's chain too much.

many may feel the urge to kill me for this statement:

but judging from the games norb has developed so far...and from the screenshots and videos I have seen on the upcoming game:

I don't need a demo at all - many others will of course to be convinced ...I'd buy it blindfolded without even asking how much it would cost!!! :woohoo:

I've been patient with another different game for many years now -which has been greatly rewarded...and I certainly have the patience to wait until the end of the month to get to play this wonderful game

Couldn't have put it better myself, Sir!

The demo is the game so you get both at once. If you do not pay for an activation code, you can only play in demo mode with one SP and one MP scenario. If you are not sure your system will handle the game, download and try it out in demo mode. You can buy an activation code at any time.

You wouldn't be speaking of the HistWar PC game would you? I have kept an eye on that one as well, but I have not bought it yet. Anybody played it? Is it as good as everyone anticipated?

I have it but there are still bugs around after 1st patch so we wait for/expect 2nd patch soon especially for MP games.
I expect SoWGB to be much better than that game.
I dont care about demo, i ll directly have this game :silly: as i did for NTW and LG too

Of course I have been talking about that game....well...all I can say is that I really love the game - we'll have a new demo up and running soon...so you could the check it out for yourself or read through the forums and be convinced to buy it anyway :woohoo:

it's really enjoyable when it comes to PBEM and MP - as well as the GT-AI is quite challenging...I heard of many people having lost battles against the AI - if you want to try something special out you could always use the option "command both sides" and the scenario will unfold exactly the way you want it to...

as Rustem said there are still a few minor bugs, but the support the very small team provides to get them fixed is enormous - JMM is very dedicated and the beta testers give their best to support him!
if you are a fan of the napoleonic era - HWLG is an absolute must...
I've never seen anything getting so close to reality concerning this period! - yet SOW should be the same for the ACW!

I'm a beta tester for HWLG myself so if you have any questions you want answered feel free to ask them (maybe not in this topic though B) )

I'm really looking forward to SOW, having enjoyed TC2M very much, but it's totally different - yet both focus very much on realism - which is the most important for me... :woohoo:

Would love to play the HWLG demo, but I can't seem to get it to download. Keeps asking for a password, but when I try to just hit "OK", I get error messages that say the passwor dis not recognized. Any ideas why?
