Maybe the game could be set up that you get the message that a courier was killed on his way to whoever and another one would not be sent unless you sent him again. That would keep the frequently dying courier problem to a minimum for you. I don't think it would work for the rest of the game.

Also, I think it would be cool on the harder settings and in MP to not always get a message that a courier was killed. Maybe you could have kind of like a return receipt requested courier system that asked the person receiving the orders to acknowledge that they did in fact receive their courier message/orders.

Kerflumoxed ,
OK, this is really not the answer to your problems with the courier system, but you can edit the gamescreens.csv file to remove the courier screen system from displaying.

But, this is what I call a circle problem , meaning that it may solve one problem, but probably creates another problem on the other side of the circle.

This will also cause additional problems with any courier message showing up!

Now, there might be an alternative to this, meaning that there might be a way of disabling only the courier message from the couriers, but I’m not sure about that, never really had any problems with this aspect of the game.

I’ll play around with this off and on, and if I come up with something I’ll let you know!

First off, How would you know that a courier coming to you got killed, if no one from your side saw it? If a courier message is posted on screen, that's a default to acceptance. Maybe! If you got the message, you should get points for it!

I see what you're saying. It could get very confusing. Weren't they also talking about the ability to capture couriers at one time?

I recall some of the thread about capturing of couriers, it was to have the ability to read the captured courier's messages. Which kinda makes sense. Unless the messages were writtin in invisible ink. B)
