It would be nice to see the entire collection of Zouve uniforms (at G-burg). Maybe, someone will mod them.

Maybe someday a computer will be made that can handle them all.

There really aren't that many to handle for Gettysburg. The 5th NY, 114th PA and others that wore zouave uniforms throughout their enlistmnt are very much the exception. Most either started in zouave attire and ende in regulation uniform or started in regulation uniform and ended as zouaves.
After the initial zouave craze of 1861, (when many zouaves were even at company level), there weren't all that many zouave units in the army at any given time once many of the zouave regiments' first issue of uniforms wore out and were replaced with regulation uniforms. Some fancy uniforms, such as the 83rd NY's chasseur uniform, never made it to active campaign and were stored in favor of more practical garb.
Gettysburg was probably one of the periods with fewer zouave uniforms in the Army of the Potomac. There were actually more zouaves in 1864 than at Gettysburg.

The zouaves of 1864 had earned there uniforms for there war service, so the new zouaves had a reputation now that they could keep. These regiments received there uniforms and took them into the Wilderness: 140th New York (Early 1864), 146th New York (June 1863, and 155th Pennsylvania (Early 1864).

According to Don Troiani, there were these regiments with at least part of Zouve uniforms:
10th New York Verteran Battalion
72nd Pennsylvania
114th Pennsylvania
84th New York
146th New York
I have no new information on the 95th NY, 23rd or 155th PA.

Some gee wiz type info. The 146th New York recieved their Zouave uniforms on June 3, 1863. The 140th did not recieve their's until January of 1864.
The 84th New York (14th Brooklyn) did NOT wear zouave uniforms but rather Chasseur uniforms. The 10th probably had bits and pieces of the uniform, like the fez for example. Aside from that they probably wore standard Federal issue uniforms and or New York State jackets. ~Gary

There are many contradictory sources for these. Fortunately it's easy for anyone to change uniform types for spacific regiments in the appropriate CSV.
