That depends entirely on the speed of your internet connection. We have testers as far apart as California and New Jersey (3k miles) and that has not presented a problem so far. You are about as far away as someone not on the space station can get so we will not know for sure until we try. IIRC, Norb stated that the MP will work on the demo so you could try before you buy.

Hi.

I'm trying to figure out how to describe this,so here it goes.

While playing Multiplayer, and if I take on Grants position as player, will there be a way to send commands via an overhead map?

For instance, I play Battlefield 2, and once you sign on as the commander, you have full control over your AI teams or playing online, sending troops to plug up holes the enemy would exploit, provide artillery support, etc..

Anyway, if this has already been asked, please ignore this note.

There is no provision for sending orders by the map on either SP or MP. Depending on the difficulty level, you can either use the point and click method (like TC2M) or send orders via courier, as the original cast did.

A good friend of mine is in Melbourne and he has been known to play MP games. I will try to him hooked on the game when it comes out and that will give you at least 3.

Hmmm. It looks like Dunhill would probably like my idea of jumping in games that are already going - something to bug Norb about. :) In a good way.
