Franco Prussian Mod?

This is where our experts try to teach you the very flexible modding system for our previous release - SOW Gettysburg and its add-ons. It's powerful, but dangerous. Post your tips and your questions.

It's TCM. I do not know of any conversion for SOW.

I'm wondering if this excellent mod can be converted from TCM2 to SOW. Is there a guide somewhere? I'm willing to do the work.

Hey All,

Forgive me if this is a re-post. Internet acting up.....again.

Does anyone know where to find the TC2M Franco-Prussian War Mod sprites? I've had a re-kindling of interest in that time period and think I can mod them over into play on SOWGB. Thanks in advance.

All,

I have found the sprites for the 1870 Mod. It was somewhere on google. Long search. I have been attempting to convert over the sprites to SOWGB. I am using the same conversion work I did for converting Alessilo's FTG Mod for TC2M, which worked out and runs well. However. it has been a real grind. I can get the game to recognize the sprites, (only doing a Prussian soldier sprite to begin with), but it won't load. The SOWGB work doc shows the sprites in the loading sequence but crashes after the "death" sprite. I may have to start over again as I think I'm missing something. I did have an issue with the 18th century sprites but was able to "fake" the game using a different "Death" sprite. We shall see......
