Perhaps it was Secret Weapons of the Luftwaffe?

i don't believe so... Japan wasn't part of the Luftwaffe AFAIK B)

There were a LOT of flight sims around that era.

I loved Battlehawks, 1942! A Micropose game, I believe. My first flight simulation game. This game taught me one important thing--my future would be somewhere on the ground.
