Here are some cool signal squads we were using in the simulations that we were/are doing with TC2M. We had one of the members that was kind enough to make the flags for us. We use them in campaign and open play simulations and they are considered fair game.
We had our first official casualties in the Union Signal Corps at the Battle of Elysburg, PA, (fictitious). The Union signal station at Bear Gap was pounded by General Ewell's artillery and was forced to take cover after losing 4 men to long range artillery fire.
The signal outposts are placed at preselected locations by the commanders in order to gain battlefield as well as campaign theater intelligence. If you are interested in them let me know.
