RTX2080....

Post by Chichetr »

Hey guys!

The day has come to upgrade my rig from a GTX980 4GB to a brand spanking new RTX 2080.

I haven't upgraded yet but it dawned on me.....will this screw up my ability to play any of the Scourge of War games?

that is a singing dancing GPU and eclipses the GTX980 by a long mile. You should have no problems at all

haha, I know that but I'm just thinking about possible issues with backwards compatibility?

They are marketed as backwards compatible. Checkout this website
https://www.game-debate.com/hardware/co ... reType=gpu
Not only can you do a side by side comparison but I believe they have a tool where you insert the game name and the card to checkout how it runs

So, um neeeevermind. Just played 3 huge scenarios on a few norbsoft games and they run like butter in maximum, extremely high quality HD, viewing tens of thousands of sprites no lag or anything, 60 fps no problem.
