Network Firewall or No Network

How do I play with no network connection?

If I have a network connection and both inbound and outbound traffic is blocked what programs to I need to allow through the firewall? What ports would I have to open up on my home router?

I really meant this post for the Waterloo Anniversery version as it appears to NOT run without a network connection. The Gettysburg Anniversery version does appear to run without a network. But for either
there must be some network firewall rules?

MP uses 31791. I would think that if the GB works for you, Waterloo would too--they both use the exact same MP engine.
