Skyboxes and lighting

Post by Saddletank »

Hi all

Can someone give me a quick 'how to' on changing clouds, light settings/levels and skyboxes in LStudio?

I want to convert the Successionville map into use for Napoleonics and set it as part of Walcheren Island for the British 1814 attacks there, but I want to remove the sunset red sky.

Any advice appreciated.

Just overwrite the sky dds with the one you want. Save and compile in LStudio.

Adjust fog Rgb settings & distance in mapname.ini.

I've never seen a sky dds. There's a cloudmap.tga and a wash.pcx. I'm guessing its the tga?

It's called strato.dds and is the only dds file in the unpacked Successionville folder.

Just replace it with another strato.dds of your choice. There's plenty around, in the Waterloo maps for example.
