Yes, I'm going to update the Couriers & Maps mod and include these. It took a bit of time to find the correspondence between the gray scale and map features. They added/changed a few. For the road system just change 135 to 130, (new sunken road), in the example you posted and add 146 for fords. I kept all the other values such as movement, fatigue, etc. the same as the Gettysburg values. It all seems to work.If you've fixed the antietam bmps, could you post them?

Garnier - I would say that as long as you use the greyscale color of 100 for the center road to fix the errors, you should be fine.
This colour will show road even if the color is used on a trail.
Considering that you are only fixing a certain amount of pixels, it would probably go un-noticed when switching the names between road \ trail.
