153rd Anniversary of Gettysburg- July 2nd

Feel welcome to honor any generals,troops,regiments, brigades, etc. that valiantly fought on the second day of Gettysburg.

These men are our great-grandfathers, brothers in arms, and fellow Americans. North or South we must remember their sacrifices.

In honor of the Irish Brigade- 63rd, 69th, and 88th New York along with the 116 Pennsylvania and 28th Massachusetts.

That's one of my all time favorite Civil War paintings. The regiments of the Irish Brigade in the foreground are joined together (separated by their regimental flags) while you can see the other brigades of Caldwell's Division waiting to be deployed in the background.
