Sandbox Campaign Multiplayer

I wonder why everytime there are muliplayer game like in scenario, that they never go that one step further and make the Sandbox Campaign Multiplayer. It never ceases to amaze me guys. :(

Time constraints during development I suspect.
HITS & Couriers - a different and realistic way to play SoW MP.
