Problem with using middle mouse button to scan battlefield

Hi:

When I use the middle mouse button to try to scan the battlefield the camera jumps all over the place in a "crazy" motion showing the sky. Is this a reported bug or just something I am doing wrong.

Yeah, that middle button scroll wheel is awkward for some. Right click hold anywhere on the toolbar and you get the same function with better response. Also holding Ctr down works for this.
