Re-installation of 2012 boxed version - code not accepted by Matrix

Game won't run. Keeps crashing. Hopefully we won't get any posts here, but if we do, we'll try to help you out. You can also post any bugs that you find here. IMPORTANT: Don't post mod related problems here!

Re-installation of 2012 boxed version - code not accepted by Matrix

Post by Vasco »

Hi guys,

Having failed to active my copy of SOWGB on the Matrix site, they directed me here. My boxed copy has a 16 digit code without hyphens which won't work even if I break it into 4 digit groups and hyphenate them. I emailed activate@norbsoftware.com stating the problem 8 days ago and haven't received a reply.

Does anyone know how to reach the developers or whether they read these pages?

I'm not sure why Matrix would have sent you here. They handle all activation now. Have you gone through these steps?

Been through them all.

The code is not accepted as valid when attempting to register the game on the Matrix site, whether entered as the full 16 digits or hyphenated groups of 4.

That's why they sent me here.

There are no hyphens in the code. It only consists of 7 characters and 9 digits.

You identified the problem, thanks. I'd misread a 0 as an O.
