Chancellorsville update

Post by Henry Hill »

Hi,
Just wondering if Chancellorsville stand alone is going to be updated to v1.61 now that Gettysburg has been after the release of Brandy Station?
I have both set up on my PC as I wanted to have the nice Chancellorsville front end map showing the locations of the battles. Chancellorsville is also installed as an additional battle in GB but I prefer the stand alone when fighting that battle. Pity the front end maps for all add on battles couldn't be shown within SOWGB.
I've got all games so far and looking forward to whatever comes along the Turnpike next. :)
Many thanks,
HH

Hi Chamberlain,
Thanks for the reply.

I've already updated to v1.6beta but was just wondering if the latest v1.61 was going to be available for Chancellorsville stand alone.

If v1.61 is just the official release of v1.6beta without any improvements then no problems. Just in case there were any improvements that players would be missing out on with the stand alone.

As I said I use the stand alone version when playing Chancellorsville as the map/battle locations front end like the Gettysburg one is really quite nice. Adds to the game a lot in my opinion.

Many cheers,
HH

I'll look into this for you. 1.6 and 1,61 are different.

Hi again,

Sorry to harp on.

Any news on Chancellorsville Stand Alone version V1.61 update or has the stand alone version become the black sheep of the SoW series?

Pity if it has as the front end really sets it apart from the other additional battles. Only wish all the add ons had their own battle location maps. This was the reason I uninstalled Sow GB then reinstalled after installing CV, to get the really nice front end. Maybe it's just me. :silly:

Doesn't and won't stop me from buying future titles though as I love these games, never leave the hard drive, (except as noted above). :)

Many cheers,
HH

Hi Jim,

I still only see the GB v1.61 update. None for Chancellorsville.
Matrix check for update says I have latest patch which is V.160 for CV.

Many cheers,
HH
