How do I uninstall?

Honestly, this may seem like a strange question, but I seemingly can't uninstall this game. It hasn't worked right on my PC since the 1.5 update, and I wasn't playing it much anyway. I decided to uninstall it to free up space and maybe try it later, but there's no uninstall option in the directory or in "Uninstall a program." I'm also not exactly sure what the activation setup is with this, but I can't find the option to deactivate. I'm not sure if my directory is borked, if I'm missing something completely obvious, or what else could be going on here. Any ideas?

Go into the main folder and click Uninstal.exe. Whatever's left after that dump it into the Trash...then, empty the Trash.

Yeah, there's no uninstal or uninstall.exe in my main directory. I'm not that dense

Edit: Honestly, I have no idea why I'm missing this. I installed from a GamersGate download a while back, then updated with the 1.5 patch. The game doesn't open and there is no uninstall.exe file in my main directory. How should I go about deactivating this? Uninstalling it?

Sounds like you have 2 installation folders. The first with the main game and a second with the patch files only. Probably the reason also, why the game doesn't work.

Any idea where to look? I just searched for "scourge" on my C drive, and the only relevant results were from the main installation directory I was already aware of.

Edit: Just as a heads up, I've tried running "update" a few times, and it keeps telling me my game is up-to-date. I don't know if that would help explain anything, but I figured it was noteworthy.

Did you install the 1.5 patch through Matrix games? If so, the other copy of SOW is installed in that folder. Regardless, if you're just freeing up space, delete everything manually would be my guess.

When you're ready to try the game again, register and install through Matrix games, your reg codes are good to go for re-installation. Also, this should clear up your issues you experienced after patching to 1.5. Don't worry about activation procedures, DRM is gone with 1.5, reg codes initially are all that are needed.

Thanks for all the help. I actually registered the game with Matrix before posting here just to make sure that wasn't somehow a cause (I was reaching). It's been a bit since I installed the 1.5 patch, but I'm fairly sure I got it through Matrix games when I saw it was announced. However, I didn't actually try the game again after updating, haha. My backlog is just absurd.

Yeah, I'm sure I'll give the game another chance. None of this was meant to be in any way critical. I'm happy people are still making these kinds of games. I just have -lots- of games installed, and I need to free up some space.

Thanks again for the help.. I'll go just delete the directory. I'm sure I'll try the game again in the future!
