Very ODD Stats for NSD where Members logged in is concerned. See pic.

Got problems with the site. An idea on how to make it better. This is the place to discuss it.

First time I've spotted it, then again I don't usually look at it any way. I do know Kunena version 2.0.2 is out (I use it), and it works very nice. Might be time for an upgrade. B)

Yeah, old topics :)

We need you as our web admin. I'm leery of upgrading as there are a lot of different pieces here working together.

No need Sir, I am already spoken for. :)

I understand fully, and from what you folks have at the moment, all it would take is one bad update, and the whole thing can become unstable. Nothing wrong with the tried, and true.

Thanks for the Reply Norb, very much appreciated.

I just wanted to mention that it might be time to upgrade your Kunena since it has a few morw options, and safeties in place as well. Here are two pics for NSD to look over.
The attachment 1_2013-01-25.PNG is no longer available
[This pic shows that you have the built-in option to force new users to enter a captcha if they wish to post. Now the settings can be adjusted so that the new user will have to do this for. For instance the first 10 posts the user will have to fill out the captcha. There are also other measures Sysops can take (built-in options) to ensure a more secure forum]

The attachment 2_2013-01-25.PNG is no longer available
[This pic shows you a PREVIEW option is now installed so you can of course preview your message before posting. This saves you from having to post, then go back to edit the message just in case it needs editing. It's about time they did this.]

There are a few other options in the new Kunena which I have't posted about, and is worth a look over.

Cheers.

Hi Norb.

I think NSD is running Joomla 1.5 Native.

Here is the link for the latest version: http://www.kunena.org/download which works with 1.5, and 2.5

Technical Requirements: http://www.kunena.org/docs/K_2.0_Technical_Requirements

Kunena 2.0.4 Readme: http://www.kunena.org/docs/Kunena_2.0.4_Read_Me

Kunena Addons if Needed: http://www.kunena.org/docs/Kunena_Add-ons

Cheers.
