OK, I'll admit it, I'm an idiot, but HELP!!!

Just downloaded and installed SOW Chancellorsville on my Win 8 machine with no problems. However, it dod not populate an icon on either desktop to run the game. No biggie, I said, I'll just find the main exe file and make a shortcut to that.

I CAN'T FIND THE DAMN THING.

Where the heck is it???

At the bottom left in the desktop hit the icon that looks like a folder find c prompt and go from there.

In the Matrix Games folder on your main drive, I'm guessing C.

Actually I've gone into Windows Explorer and searched every possible folder I can find, Matrix, Norbsoft, you name it, but can't find any executable at all. Hoping someone can give me a direct path or at least the actual name of the exe file so I can search for it.

Never mind, but thanks for the help. It looks like the install for SOW CV located the folder for the SOW Gettysburg demo, and tried to install SOV CV as an add-on to SOW Gettysburg. Once I got rid of the demo and cleared the registry, the game installed fine and now looks OK to play.

Seriously, you cannot make this stuff up .
