Carryover/Complete Scenarios - Chancellorsville?
Carryover/Complete Scenarios - Chancellorsville?
Hi all,
I quietly love and play the long game scenarios vs. the AI, really endlessly enjoying the expansive Gettysburg carryover and extensive Antietam scenarios for days and weeks at a time - mostly because the breadth and scope allows me to thoroughly enjoy doing 'what-ifs' with all of the resources (eventually) available, along the historic timelines you've so skillfully put together.
I dunno how many others enjoy playing the long game as I do (it's pretty much the only way I play the game - weigh in if you do)... but I was wondering, are one of you wizards putting together any 'carryover' or 'all-in-one' scenarios like GB and Antietam for the Chancellorsville scenario set?
Thanks,
Bob Williams

Cv Extras includes a 4 scenario carryover marathon starting with Jackson's Juggernaut and ending with a "What If the Rebel offensive continued".

Thx Reb. Appreciate it.

Next Question... where are CV extras located? (casual player - looked through Modifications sub-forum, and elsewhere, calling no joy.)
Am I the only one that finds file locations buried in forums to be... counter-intuitive?
No Downloads, Game Updates, Mods, or Scenarios Sections? (think it makes it hard for new players (and casual players) to find stuff in here. Sorry, my 2 cents.

They are in the modification section and must be enabled. Then you will find them in your User Scenarios.

Thanks. Had them already installed from installing the CV set and did not know it. Appreciate it.

Any chance anyone's working on a Union version of the carryover scenario for CV?

Yeah, I thought about it, like to balance things out. However, this is a lose lose design situation as far as I'm concerned. The only way to make it competitive is to hold back Union forces as they were historically. Players don't like this, they want all the forces available that were historically present. Just goes to show you, Hooker screwed up royally. The numeric advantage of the Union troops doesn't lie, Lincoln saw Hooker's failings immediately...FIRED.Any chance anyone's working on a Union version of the carryover scenario for CV?

Gotcha - I understand completely and (thanks to your explanation), I 'get' it. Thanks for the insight. Makes sense.
