Game won't run. Keeps crashing. Hopefully we won't get any posts here, but if we do, we'll try to help you out. You can also post any bugs that you find here. IMPORTANT: Don't post mod related problems here!

Stop worrying about the damn roads and send them in cross-country.
I hope this was meant in jest.

Wow with somebody like this in charge of doing the quality control no wonder the maps are bad. I guess the quality of NSD dropped quite a bit after Gettysburg came out. Thats a shame. JCEdwards sounds alot like my daughter. She's 11. Norb needs to do some house cleaning.
Jsteed, I understand your frustration, and like I said we are working on the patches. The road checker has been fixed now and these issues will no longer happen in the future. The patch for Chancellorsville and Antietam will be out very soon.
Everyone - There is no need for this discussion to turn into a flame war. All of the relevant issues have been addressed, all questions answered.

This is sort of crazy. We are working on a new demo and getting the maps fixed. This was 2nd Texas first official map release. He didn't realize all the possible mistakes that can happen in the map system, and we didn't watch his work close enough. He was the new guy and we should have assumed that he would not know all the tricks. I guess we were overwhelmed by the performance and appearance and the deadlines we had. No excuses, we'll get them fixed. There's always going to be something that is not tested thoroughly enough. Thank you MTG for providing an interim fix for the players.

I don't think that Norb has a bad-team at all, some of them were modding the previous game and moved over to this game.
The roads contain thousands of pixels that has to be exactly right in order to work as designed.
It is quite easy to miss a pixel here and there, and all it takes is one missing pixel out of thousands to render the road-system-broken.
But, in all fairness, anybody can fix this problem themselves without bashing anybody else.

The only true logic is that, there is no true logic!
I am not on the team and as a customer only I can say that Norb and team delivers the best product with the best support that I have seen in this market. In truth, the quality and speed of the game has increased. Even after this game being out 2 years +/- it is very well supported. Norb has even included such things as being able to write your own couriers well after game release. Norb has also allowed for free content to be made available for the game. Just check out the free maps and battle scenarios available on the site. He soon opened the game to modding which has greatly expanded what we players can do.
I think that's enough. It's a great game and well supported and improving all the time.
