If 1.5 has put you in demo mode

Game won't run. Keeps crashing. Hopefully we won't get any posts here, but if we do, we'll try to help you out. You can also post any bugs that you find here. IMPORTANT: Don't post mod related problems here!

B,
I have always thought that is a very narrow definition of insanity. Doing it all again assumes that might do it differently, that is, correctly, the second time.

As usual, you may be onto something; I probably bought the pcl pack from the link that first announced it in these forums.

If it helps to diagnose, the Antietam pack acts just the same way. The map files and the .sow file are there, but they don't show up on the battlefield or additional scenarios menus.

Did you ever get this fixed after exchanging emails with born? Just curious because this is/was a very strange case.

Just to put a grateful bow on this issue:

Born offered to help offline. We have a exchanged some emails. He tried to recreate my re-install. He suggested that I use the Antietam and PCL downloads from the Matrix Games site (I had been using the original ones). That was the problem. Thanks to Born2see, my ship is righted and running before the wind with full sail.
