Hi there!
I have just purchased a copy of SoW and I can´t wait to start. The game however won´t fluently.
First of all, the clouds above the map in the single player scenario selection screen stutter.
When I turn around the map the camera view stutters from time to time. I can play it, however it is kind of annoying.
I hope someone can help me!

It´s strange, the Pike Creek Scenarios work perfectly well!
Re: Game is lagging
On the normal scenarios, try pressing the 'T' key twice, to hide all the wheat and corn. This should make it run a lot smoother if your graphics card is the problem.

Also adjust your graphics settings to find a happy medium between visuals and performance. Trees can be a big killer, so try reducing them to 80% or lower. Also try reducing the site distance for objects, troops, terrain. Basically just play around with the performance options until you find the happy medium.

I have just read that an onboard graphic card, like the one in my notebook, isn´t too good for the game....
Is there anything I can do about it?

Re: Game is lagging
See my last post. I tested the game for a year on an 8 year old machine with an onboard graphics card, and I was able to get good frames. At one point I had the trees down to 30% for the large scenarios. Yeah you don't get all of the eye candy, but the game can run on practically any machine if you adjust the graphic settings accordingly.

Let me second what LP says. I have a 4 year old laptop with an integrated graphics card and it runs the game fine with the settings he outlined.
