Stuck in demo mode
It is stuck in demo mode. I can play all the tutorials but none of the main battles and no mods are showing up? I tried to search for registry but could not find it. What do I do?

Hi William. Do you have the 1.5 patch yet? Download it from the matrix site:
http://www.matrixgames.com/products/441 ... Gettysburg
All you have to do is enter your activation code during installation, and the game will be unlocked.

Should I try installing the patch again?

Re: Stuck in demo mode
Ok. What I did was uninstall the whole game. I reinstalled and activated to 1.4. It worked. Then I applied 1.5 and it got me in tutorial mode again. There isn't even a modification screen.

Re: Stuck in demo mode
Just to confirm, when you install the 1.5 patch, you enter your Gettysburg code during the install, and you're still in Demo mode?
Re: Stuck in demo mode
You have the original patch. Please delete that file and download again from Matrix. After installation of the current patch file you should see 1.5001 as the version number. If it tells you that you are current during the installation, keep going through the full process anyway.

Yes. I uninstall the game totally. Then I reinstall it, it is from the website, the demo, and it is version 1.4. I put in the code and it says your game has been registered. I start it up, it is version 1.4 with modification screen and scenario screen. Then I patch it. Then it starts, says version 1.5, but all that is there are the tutorial screens. I can play any of the tutorials but that is all

Re: Stuck in demo mode
I'm in the same boat, really. Even when I emailed and got the code reset, my authorization failed on 1.4. I decided to load the 1.5 patch (the latest 1.5rev patch) on top of it, just to see what happens. I load the game after that, it doesn't ask me to activate it this time. But all I get are the tutorials. And there's not even an activate/deactivate option on the opening menu.Yes. I uninstall the game totally. Re: Stuck in demo mode
Jim, I did that the first time and it did not work, so I tried it the way I wrote on here. The first time, I installed the whole thing in this order: game, serial number to 1.4, patch. Then it said I was up to date at 1.5 and I kept going anyway and I am still in demo mode.
