To all modders large, and small.

This is where our experts try to teach you the very flexible modding system for our previous release - SOW Gettysburg and its add-ons. It's powerful, but dangerous. Post your tips and your questions.

To all modders large, and small.

Post by Michael Slaunwhite »

I was asked that I post a note here concerning modifications, and the Matrix's Forum area. As of this moment, I have no idea what the heck I am suppose to say other than post all mods (if possible) in the area marked by Matrix staff. The area is called "Mods and Scenarios". As far as what is expected from us, that is something I am still waiting on.

Okay this is how it came about, and why I was asked to make a post.

I posted a link on the Matrix's forum, and I was politely asked to post that modders please post their mods there, and the link I posted was frowned upon, and deleted.

Like I mentioned, I'm just waiting on what is expected of me as a member of Matrix's forum, and how I should post my own links.

If everything goes as normal, I should be banned in 2.5 weeks.

Simply, modders, if you want to discuss and answer questions concerning your mods on the Matrix forum, sign them up there in the 'Mods and Scenarios' section. There will be a 7 day waiting period once you join the Matrix forum before you can post links though, keep this in mind. This is a safeguard to deter bogus and harmful spontaneous links, so please be patient and understanding. Remember, you represent SOW.

This protocol is set so Matrix does not get questions about mods that are not registered there, plus, it insures that all mods registered/signed up there are updated to 1.5, their links work, and the mod author is a member there and can be available for questions on the Matrix forum. Make sure your mods meet these standards, and you can visit occasionally to answer questions, or, promo your mod.

This is not at all necessary if you're satisfied with just answering questions on this forum concerning your mods.

My, My... RB, the diplomat. You truly can make a silk purse out of a Razorbacks ear.

Believe me, my fastest record for being banned was under 4 minutes, and I only posted a link to a HOWto for a dos game, and they claimed that post was considered spamming... I mean come on!
