I just finished installing a game I bought a long while ago. This game is Red Orchestra 2. I updated with all the patches, and finally decided to try it out...
I got into the third phase of missions (I believe clearing the school house), and suddenly I got the blue screen of death.
I have never got this from any other game, only with Red Orchestra 2. I did a full system check to makes sure my hardware is good, and stable, checked to make sure I don't have any viruses, or kernel issues, everything is in the green, also I never overclock my system (video or cpu).
So I decided to find out why this is happening, and I soon found out that this game is full of bugs (even with all the patches installed), and there are so many people out there who are experiencing the very same thing I am.
I don't know what else to say other than stay away from this game. This game is made or promoted by Tripwire, and if they are this careless with releasing a game that can cause harm to your system, I would rather get infected instead, at least I know what I am dealing with when that happens.
Final Note: I play Arma2/OA fully modded (All the Ace mods installed) with maxed out settings, and I have no problems ever playing it. If anything, ARMA2/OA full of mods should be giving me this problem if it was my system.
What a waste of money. Blue screen of death.

I play RO2 on Steam all the time, no problems. Great game. Never tried the single player.

Thanks, I was playing the Single Player.I play RO2 on Steam all the time, no problems. Great game. Never tried the single player.
I just finished cleaning my computer, and I'm going to do some more stress tests to be sure. I had a game of ARMA 2/OA with no problems. Normally BSOD's are normally caused by hardware being too stressed (cpu overheating/Mem errors).
There is one thing I haven't done, and that is have a Army vs Army of Sow. Now that should stress test my system.

Man BSOD's scare the crap out of me.
Thanks for the reply.

Well, I just let an entire army vs army game take place, and my system handled it without a BSOD. I made sure that I kept the entire battle in max aerial view. I also maxed out all settings, and ran half of the game in speed mode to push the CPU into overheating, memory faults, GPU failure or whatever else might make a spring to pop (tell you the truth I don't know if SOW skips certain aspects/computations while in speed mode), but she passed which leads me to believe that RO2 is a very dangerous game to play on my system.
What a waste, I really wanted to play that game, and a waste of some hard earned money to boot.
Well Tripwire is definitely forever off my list of gaming companies to purchase titles from... Just too chancy of a thing.
