Is this game worth it?

Definately. I know $30 seems like a bit much to pay for a non AAA title these days but without a doubt this game is far better than any AAA title I have played... granted I don't think many people who hang out in a forum like this are going to say its not worth it but yea...

I played the demo and it seems fun but 30 dollars seems a bit much for it. So is it worth all the money?

Actually yes. I've paid more for some games, like War in the Pacific Admirals Edition (I paid $89.99 for that) and this is on par with that as far as the amount of time I spend playing it and the admiration I have for the game. The games are very different but both are well worth the asking price and then some.

Yes, Tell your mom it is a great investment in the short run as well as the long run. Your brain will be stimulated to learn more. Can't beat that.

I'm 53 years old and I've played a whole lot of wargames: SOW is by far the best MP experience of them all.

Seriously, I can't believe there aren't literally thousands of people playing this game online.

The multiplayer experience is epic.

Buy the game, play single player for a few weeks until you feel comfortable running a brigade, and then come play a GCM game www.sowmp.com . You won't regret it. The games are brutal -- no quarter. Be prepared to get your ass handed to you. You'll get better or you'll give up. Chances are you'll fall in love with it and play as often as you can. We play every evening, sometimes two games.

ive played em both and they are both worth it.coh really benefits from the many mods available and men of war is good as you can take charge of any individual unit.
i preferred 'soldiers,heros of ww2'as for some reason i found it funny,listening to the comments the individual soldiers made!
