What is the latest patch?

I have 1.4026 installed but I see a mod by Marching that says it is for 1.4050. What gives?

Is 1.4026 bug free for the most part? What improvements does it contain? I didn't see any of that info in the 1.4026 thread

Most patches are as bug free as they get. You will always want the latest, as they have minor improvements in many areas. There should be a list of improvements in the read-me.
