Trevilian Station 1864 - map in progress

This is where our experts try to teach you the very flexible modding system for our previous release - SOW Gettysburg and its add-ons. It's powerful, but dangerous. Post your tips and your questions.

The white part is the rails, the brown part is the ground behind it.

If the fences didn't have a significant alpha layer, they'd look like a narrow wall with a fence painted on it, so, don't be silly. :P

The white part is the rails, the brown part is the ground behind it.
Then why does the brown part obscure the horses legs?

And why does the white part obscure them as well?

Here's some very very zoomed in shots to show the fences look ok (in my view) and you can see through them. As I said they look fine in game.

Hope that puts people's minds at rest. Now lets talk about roads and speed/fatigue penalties.......................

Thanks for clearing that up. They do look extremely good, great textures, and the problem just seems to be at a distance (which is the same as the default fences).

Well, maybe you 'aint the best judge on this Saddletank - you seem to be the only one seeing any probs which don't seem to be there! - I cannot see any problems with the alpha's in any of the pics shown - bad alpha's would REALLY stand out! These are not really high res textures people have to work with here, they cannot be due to the nature of the game atm, so it's a pretty good job done it seems to me on this work.

Unfortunately this redundancy of scrutiny is turning into the road pathing thread. Get off the horse, its been beaten to death.
