I have been on, and off fan of combat flight sims, since I always seem to die no matter what I try. The last combat sim I flew was IL2 which I found exciting, and very interesting (I loved the editor, I created so many scenarios) but of course that never stopped me from having my body parts strewn all over the land scape 99 percent of the time.

Okay so have any of you played "Wings of Prey"? If so what are your thoughts on this combat flight sim?

Have never heard of "Wings Of Prey." Will have to check it out. Am a big fan of IL2. Still a huge community out there supporting it. I Fly online alot. Suck at it, but lots of fun. I think someone here turned me on to it.

I don't have the money to buy this at the moment so I thought I would do some ground work first, and see what you folks think about it.

Note: I don't know what this guy was thinking when he decided to release them in this condition really. Viewing this is hard to get anything out of it.

Oh God, I've been side tracked again as always. Looking for one thing, then running off in another. Reading your article about th egame, I suddenly thought of World War 1, and about a modification that was made for Microsoft Combat Flight Simulator 3 called "Between Heaven and Hell".

I own both thankfully, and I have to say that this is about the most engaging WWI flight sim out there, and it's hard as you know what. I passed out from exhaustion after sitting in front of the computer for over 11 hours playing it. I soon woke up on my keyboard, and having to buy a new keyboard because I drooled all over it.

I know folks will bind up, and be taking Elax for a full month if I say it's better than Rise of Flight, so I will do you folks a favor, and say that Between Heaven and Hell is on par with Rise of Flight...AAaaaahhh, I can't do that... It's actually better than Rise of Flight. :woohoo:
