The Storyline behind the Civil War version of the game is a bit unrealistic in my opinion but looks really interesting. It's basically Age of Sail repackaged into the era of Steam ships. Still despite being several years old I don't think I have seen anyone else cover the 1850-1870s era of naval warfare before.

I used to love playing AOS and AOSII Priviteers bounty they got me into multiplayer online gaming never looked back really.

Sealords Virtual Fleets online community used to run tournaments and such providing many hours of great games just a shame it had such a small community a few of us play here now.
