Gun,

Roger that. Of course, it dawned on me right after I posted last, that if I can change the skirmish lines, a line formation can change too. Duh!

Red,

The posting worked. Unfortuately, "Over the Hills.." is recorded at too low a volume to be usable.

Gun,

Question - are you doing Portuguese Laddies also? Most Peninsula OOBs have some Portuguese troops in them. OR shall we just Sub in Brits for them until you (or anyone else), can do some up?

Mm, Spanish too. Fought on both sides.

Brunswickers also, and various weird and colourful Legions Wellington had in his army, including some French!

Sorry - not asking for these specifically - just saying how multi-national both sides in the Peninsula campaign were.

Yep, the Portuguese and Spanish will be there. Certainly most of the detailed units will be british. I have done Foot, Rifles (green jackets), Mounted officer, mounted general, Foot Artillery and Horse Artillery. I need to browse some OOBs and determine which ones i want to put with the mod. I will also be doing Highland infantry, Light infantry, KGL light infantry, Light dragoons. The French are also getting a boost with Swiss and Vistula Legion. Those are the ones from the top of my head but browsing OOBs might provide me with more common units. Many of the above were done for the other game so wont take me long to convert them over. Feel free to suggest others, i have a thing for polish lancers but not sure they will make it in :).

Thanks Redcoat, yea the over the hills wasnt playable. The other two are very good though, good marching music. Would be good to hear the other one though. good stuff.

For Portugal Line, Cacadores and probably their basic cavalry plus offiecrs is all you'd need. Their cavalry I think equated to lower quality British light dragoons.

As well as the 95th Foot the 5th Battalion 60th Foot were a neat variation on the rifle uniform.

British hussars?

Luckily the British army didn't have too many uniform variations although the facings can cuase trouble, so many of those. Guards and KGL wore blue facings which helps. I'd like to se KGL Dragoons, one of Wellingtons few sources of reliable heavy cavalry. Those Brunswickers would be nice too, they formed a small Legion in the Peninsular about the time of Salamanca, infantry, hussars and a foot battery IIRC in their distinctive black uniforms.

gunship or Jack – Hey, how many different uniforms are you guys running at the same time?

After reading some of the comments, it seems that you guys don’t have a limit going on here, or are you just adding certain uniforms to certain OOB’s.

The only true logic is that, there is no true logic!
