MAP DISPLAY
MAP DISPLAY
Can anyone point me to where in the Options one can change the various map displays to the letter, A, B, C or D, as per the manual? The only item like that I could find in the options is "Map icon display" which goes from "all on map, to 1k yards, to "bare map." Seems that the manual does not correspond to the game.ty

Re: MAP DISPLAY
I'm sorry but I'm not sure I am following you. The manual (pg. 45) explains exactly what the map display functions do:
Map Icons Display Level This setting adjusts the amount of information
given on the Map in the Central Island.
• “All Units” The Map will display all units.
46
• “All in 1K yds” The Map will display all friendly units and enemy units
within 1000 yards of any friendly unit.
• “All in 700 yds” The Map will display friendly units and enemy units
within 700 yards of the player.
• “All in sight” The Map will display friendly units and enemy units
within sight of any friendly unit.
• “Player sees” The Map will display only units visible to you.
• “Bare map” The Map will display no units, only Objectives and the
camera icon.

Re: MAP DISPLAY
that's quite a bit different from page 43 which denotes the map display as letters " A to D". and a much better way of doing things IMO. why does page 43 in the manual not refer to how game actually works?
Re: MAP DISPLAY
The letters A-D are placeholders in the table for "preset difficulty levels" and are explained on page 44.
Select "Custom" and set up your own, preferred level.
