K just bought it and won a major victory as Buford :cheer:
I can already tell the AI has been MASSIVELY improved!
I got more than enough points for a major victory but took devastating casualties (little less than half of my command)
Also from what i have seen close range artillery has become more balanced.
Im still figuring out the interface (have yet to find the charge button) and getting used to the new graphics but so far this game is awesome!

Jack "...come see how a Marechal of France dies..." O'Neill B)

(For the Record, he was tied to a stake as a traitor to his King and shot. Bummer.)

How many of you can tell me who said it and when? LOL! :)
Marechal Ney, I think in late 1815.
HITS & Couriers - a different and realistic way to play SoW MP.

Indeed Brother -

...As he tried to rally the defeated French troops at Waterloo, but to no avail. At one point he was seen beating on a english cannon with a broken sword in frustration, then was swept away in the tide of retreating Infantry... Good call.

So far for me SOW does not crash or freeze but TC2M did a lot along with Bull Run but then I ran those on a different computer.....
This is Abner Monroe Perrin born Edgefield County, South Carolina born Feb 8th 1827 fought in Gettysburg and other engagements.

"Maj. Gen. Edward "Allegheny" Johnson's division was captured on May 12, 1864, units from the Third Corps—including Perrin's brigade—were called in to help. Leading his troops in a spirited counterattack through a very heavy fire, with his sword in hand, Perrin fell from his horse pierced by seven bullets. He died instantly.

Perrin is buried in the Confederate Cemetery in Fredericksburg, Virginia." source wiki
