Olustee Map - Released

This is where our experts try to teach you the very flexible modding system for our previous release - SOW Gettysburg and its add-ons. It's powerful, but dangerous. Post your tips and your questions.

This map is so great I'll have to make a Blondie scenario for it!

How did that last post not get put on the other map release thread? Could someone move it (Blondie one)?

The original Olustee map was beautiful in itself, but with the new engine the whole environment comes to life. It's a beautiful piece of work, and the introduction of the USCT sprites are a welcomed addition to the SOW database.
Now we are engaged in a great civil war, testing whether that nation, or any nation so conceived and so dedicated, can long endure.

The more I play this map the more I like it, very nice addition to my small collection of maps.

A curious thing happened yesterday while playing a game. I was playing of course this excellent map, with my own, custom Black regiments oob.

At one point in the battle I was being bombarded by arty so I gave the orders to one particular regiment to lay down, and cover their heads. Once I gave that order the regiment simply vanished right before my eyes. They no longer existed...

Very weird but I am pretty sure that it's the oob, and has nothing to do with the game. I'm still trying to figure out the oob's which for some reason or other just really confuses me, I just can't grasp this...

The same happened to me, in the game with the invincible captured gun. Which I've posted to Support.

It is, indeed, a great looking map, but unfortunately it would not work in MP. Maybe I'm doing something wrong, or maybe I just missed a notice that said it is only for SP. A great pity I won't be using it much since my play is almost all MP.....but it is very well done. Congratulations.

Hmmmm, just now tried the Olustee OOB on the Olustee map and it crashed upon startup, four straight times. Other OOBs work just fine on the Olustee map. And yes, I have the USCT and Olustee OOB selected on the Modifications page.
