Hardly worth asking

Post by Amish John »

A question about a very minor item...

In TC2M the elevator bars did not have a position button (if I remember right). Will this be corrected in Ge... I mean the new game?
You can get farther with a kind word and a gun than you can with a kind word alone.

The answer is yes if you mean the scrollbar slider.

Yeah, thanks. I didn't know that was the technical name for it.

In TC2M on the options screen (especially with CMP3) when choosing your battlefield and order of battle you use the elevator bar arrows to scroll up and down in the available selections, but without the "scrollbar slider" you don't know how near the top or the bottom of the list you are.

I see, you're thinkin about the menus! Scoll bars there are pretty much a given if the menu options are longer than a page. I was thinkin more of the actual battle play.

I wouldn't like that in actually battle.:(

But it is pretty obvious there will be slide buttons.

I agree Hanock.;)
Scroll bars on the main battle screen would be an unnecessary distraction not to mention a PITA when the action gets heavy. I got my SAITEK CYBORG COMMAND Key Pad to easily maneuver around the battle field as is.
However, if for example NSD implements a zoomable map subscreen, all bets are off.

Obvious, maybe, but since they weren't in TC2M, I just thought I'd ask.
