activate.log file/Work subfolder SOWGB directory

Post by gduffus »

My computer crashed.... I lost alot. Upon getting the thing 'fixed', I tried to re-install SOWGB but was told that my activation code was already in use (?). NorbSoftDev advised me that I must send them my activation code & my activate.log file, located in the Work subfolder of the games' directory. I found the activation code on the cd but have no idea where/how to find the rest of what I need. Any help?
Thanks,
Gordon

Send your code and the activate.log. which is located in the ...\Work directory to activate at scourgeofwar dot com. They'll take care of you from that point.

That's it exactly....... thank you. Now, stupid as I apparently am, where do I find the page you posted? Or better yet, how do I get there? I know that this seems petty but I really have no idea.

If you click on the Start button and then select Computer it will take you to Windows Explorer which is what you're seeing in the screen shot.

This is for Windows 7 and Vista. Windows XP will be different.

Ahhhh.... I, of course, do have Windows XP. Thanks again. I guess I'll have to rely on NorbSoft but they've been no help at all..... and it's their game.

Send your code to activate@scourgeofwar.com and I'll make sure you're taken care of promptly.
