I wanted the music off, so i just renamed the intor,end and MP music so the programme wont run them. This has worked fine, but am I asking for problems/crashes?
I checked the .ini file and couldnt find an option to turn off the music, except the marching music.

I just removed them from the "Music" file and parked them in a "My Documents" folder with a obvious name. That way I can put them back whenever. Best I can tell, there is no "on/off" switch for it.

Also, using Garnier's GCM launcher, you can disable the music in the sow dropdown, as well as add the minimap mod and the tree mod.
