BloodBathII plus Butternut

This is where our experts try to teach you the very flexible modding system for our previous release - SOW Gettysburg and its add-ons. It's powerful, but dangerous. Post your tips and your questions.

hi, I see a lot of blood- I usually play CSA- really great mods-the hardest thing is taking out the Union(enemy) guns- usually it takes a infantry charge- and it can be very costly- cool game :pinch:

Hey RebBugler,

I see the Blood spatter on both sides, though I haven't seen any heads rolling around yet !

Great job !!!!

Thanks, guess ol' Mikesla is running some union sprites mod that conflicts with the Death sprites. Oh, and Mikesla, thanks for being gracious, and humble, about my toe stepping. You're alright dude. :)

And thanks everyone for the good reports. Kinda just started this thing as a novelty, but now I even like it, especially with the enhanced butternut units. It's actually turned out useful for gameplay, gives you a more immediate grasp visually of which units are being chopped up, so you can get them to safety before they rout.

Yep, as long as you keep the limb within said frame. A visual issue occurs here though as you pan around, the limb would disappear and reappear as you change angles. The only way to stabilize this is have all the frames losing that limb, but that would suck, because that sprite would always die the same way...way too redundant given the Rebs only have 5 different sprites, with one borrowed from the Union.

Hi Reb Bugler.

I just rechecked to make sure I'm not using any other mod which would conflict with your new bloodbath (really cool by the way, I love it), and here are some pics. Funny thing in the sandbox setup, it says I am in charge of an infantry brigade, but while in battle it says I am in charge of a cav unit, but without horses for some odd reason. Here are some screen shots for ya.

Hope this helps...Excellent work by the way!

Issue solved, those are DCav, dismounted cavalry, troops. I haven't included them with BloodBath yet. Guess there will have to be a BloodBathIII.

Thanks for the screens and report Sir. :)
